My Key Projects and Achievements

Empowering Global Environmental Education: Earth School

During my tenure at TED Conferences from December 2022 to June 2023, I played a critical role in the launch of the Earth School microsite in collaboration with Speed n’ Scale and other cross-functional teams, including animation, editorial, growth and social, and development teams. My task was to help conceptualize, create, and ensure the successful deployment of this educational platform. I engaged in the multilingual adaptation of the content using Smartling and integrated Google Translate through an API, making the site accessible to a global audience. By leveraging Looker Studio and Google Analytics, I curated data-driven analyses and designed  data visualizations boards that significantly enhanced our web performance assessment capabilities. The result was a highly engaging, accessible, and informative microsite that supports global environmental education.

Innovating Community Support: Developing AMPLE

In the summer of 2020, as part of the Internhacks program, I collaborated with mentors from Netflix on a project aimed at improving the accessibility of food bank locations. Our team identified a need for a solution that could provide real-time information for individuals in need in NYC while enabling food banks to efficiently track their inventory. My contribution involved utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop AMPLE, a cross-platform application (iOS & Android) and website. I also implemented Firebase Authentication for the signup/login process and managed the Cloud Firestore Database for inventory tracking. This project successfully resulted in an accessible, user-friendly platform that enhanced the distribution of resources and support for both food banks and individuals in need.

Master the Art: TED's Official Public Speaking Course

I played an extensive and crucial role with TED's Official Public Speaking Course, aimed at mimicking TED's impactful talks and enhancing communication skills, I focused on market growth and performance optimization. My tasks involved analyzing weekly sign-ups, sales, and completions, and leading marketing campaigns for B2C and B2B segments to boost enrollments. Utilizing persuasive messaging and visuals, I significantly increased course engagement. Additionally, by fostering relationships with B2B clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our content and delivery, I contributed to the course's success and expansion, evidenced by improved enrollments and completions. This strategic and hands-on approach helped solidify our market position and stakeholder relationships.
